Belle Movement T’s and C’s

We do make every effort to ensure that our policies are fair and reasonable. We review our T’s and C’s frequently and we are always trying to ensure the best possible experience for our clients.

 

These T’s and C’s refer to booking, purchases and services provided and are different to our client waiver.

 

 

 

 

  1. Bookings and Cancellations

 

Belle Movement will make every effort to ensure clients are able to book and cancel their classes in the fairest way possible. As of October 2023, Belle Movement DOES NOT charge any additional late cancellation or no-show fees. We remain to be the only studio on the Central Coast who has this policy, and the intention is to remain this way. This however, is only possible, if clients understand, and adhere to our booking and cancellation policy.

 

As our studio grows and our client base gets larger, we will need to revisit this policy to ensure that all clients can book classes in a fair manner.

 

 

 

1.a) Bookings

 

Bookings are the responsibility of the client and should be made via the Belle Movement App or via the Belle Movement Website, which will direct you to the Momence platform where our bookings are managed.

 

Bookings can be made by phone call, between the hours of 9:00am and 3:00pm, Monday – Friday on 0434406308. Calls will not be taken outside of these hours.

 

1.b) Cancellations

 

Cancellations are the responsibility of the client. All booking and cancellation policies apply to members and class pass holders as per the conditions stipulated below.

 

1.b.i)  How to cancel classes/ appointments.

 

  • Cancelations must be made via the Belle Movement App or Momence.

  • Cancellations can be made by phone call between the hours of 9:00am and 3:00pm, Monday to Friday on 0434406308. Calls will not be taken outside of these hours.

  • Cancellations can be made via email to hello@bellemovement.com

  • Cancellations cannot be made under any circumstances via Facebook Message or Instagram Message.

 

1.b.ii) Cancellation windows “Early Cancellation”

  • Early cancellations will result in the associated class or appointment being returned to the client in the form of class credit. This credit can be used to book another class at a later date.

  • "Early Cancellation"  24 hours prior to your class commencing.

  • 24 hours means 24 hours, not the calendar day before your class.

 

1.b.iii) Cancellation windows “Late Cancellation”

  • A cancellation is considered late if a client cancels their class/ appointment within the period described above.

  • A class/ appointment that is regarded as a late cancellation will not be re-credited to a client's account.

  • There is no additional fee for a class that is cancelled late, however, credit will not be returned to the client's account.

*extenuating circumstances will always be considered.

**Should you wish to swap your class time i.e. Move to the 7:30pm rather than 6:30pm on the same day considerations can be made. These requests must be made via phone call between 9:00am and 3:00pm Monday to Friday.  As per the points above, changes will not be made under any circumstances via Facebook or Instagram messages.

2. Weekly and Monthly Memberships:

 

The Belle Weekly/ Monthly Membership is our best value-for-money membership. Each week/month you will automatically be dropped an allocation of class credits that you can use to book any class you like on the schedule.  Classes are issued at a 35% discount compared with the casual class rate.

 

The intention of the membership is to ensure that there is a great value option available option to our clients, with a degree of flexibility for our clients. Memberships ARE NOT the most flexible option available to Belle Movement Clients. Class packs and Casual Classes are the most flexible options available to clients.

 

 

Weekly Membership

 

  • $59 per week.

  • 3 Classes per week across both Ettalong and Umina locations. 

  • No initial sign-up fee. After your first payment will have you all set and ready to go!

  • It is a 6-month (28 week) membership with a 10-week lock in period.

  • Your three classes stay valid for a month - so this means, if you only get to 1 class one week, you can keep those unused class credits up your sleeve for the next four weeks. 

  • Members will have discounted access to all our workshops and extra programs.

 

 

Monthly Membership:

 

  • $295 per 28 days. 

  • 16 Classes per month across both Ettalong and Umina locations. 

  • No initial sign-up fee. After your first payment will have you all set and ready to go!

  • It is a 6-month membership with a 12-week lock-in period.

  •  Your three classes stay valid for 8 weeks - so this means, if you only get to 12 classes one month you can keep those unused class credits up your sleeve for the next 2 months. 

  • Members will have discounted access to all of our workshops and extra programs.

 

 

 

2.a) Payments

 

  • Payments will be deducted from your nominated card by Belle Movement’s booking software provider. Your card details are stored securely on our system, Momence.

  • Should you wish to use a bank account to direct debit your payments you will need to get in touch with Belle Movement at hello@bellemovement.com to make this arrangement.

  • No cash payments can be taken for Weekly/ Monthly Memberships.

  • Payment and the drop of classes will take place on the same day each week/ month (i.e. if you joined on a Tuesday, your payment day will be every week/ month on a Tuesday).

  • If your payment fails, please DO NOT attempt to make payment via the app. The payment will be automatically attempted again 5 days later. If you wish to re-run your payment sooner, please get in touch at hello@bellemovement.com 

  • If your payment fails a second time, your membership will be automatically cancelled. You are able to sign up again via the Belle Movement App.

 

 

 

2.b) Class Credit allocations

 

  • Belle Weekly Members will be allocated 3 class credits every week. These credits can be used on all class categories, excluding private classes. Class credits will be valid for 28 days after being allocated to the member's account.

  • Classes will not be re-credited to clients in the occurrence of a late cancellation or a no-show unless under extenuating circumstances.

  • Class credits are valid for 28 days after the initial drop date for weekly members.

  • Clients can use these credits on any class for the 28 days following the drop date. The classes do not need to be used for the week following the drop (so they can be used to book ahead if you like). After 28 days, the remaining credits will expire.

 

 

  • Belle Monthly Members will be allocated 16 class credits every 4 weeks. These credits can be used on all class categories, excluding private classes.

  • Class credits will be valid for 8 weeks after being allocated to the member's account. Classes will not be re-credited to clients in the occurrence of a late cancellation or a no-show unless under extenuating circumstances.

  • Class credits are valid for 8 weeks after the initial drop date for Monthly Members.

  • Clients can use these credits on any class for the 8 weeks following the drop date. The classes do not need to be used for the week following the drop (so they can be used to book ahead if you like). After 8 weeks, the remaining credits will expire.

 

 

2.c) Duration

 

  • All memberships are for a 24-week period with a minimum lock-in period of 10 weeks.

  • Memberships can be cancelled at any time after the minimum period with two weeks' notice.

  • Memberships will automatically end once 24 weeks have passed. If clients wish to continue with a membership, they will need to sign up again.

  • Memberships can be frozen for a minimum of two weeks with a minimum of two weeks' notice after the initial 10-week minimum.

  • A client can not exceed 6 membership freezes within the 24-week period.

 

Note: Membership freezes are not intended to “catch up” on class credits. There is a reasonable expiration window on the classes when they are dropped with the intention that unused classes can be used in the weeks after the initial drop.

 

 

3. Class packs and casual passes

 

Class packs and Casual Passes are the most flexible way to manage your bookings and payments. Class packs can be purchased as a 3 Class Intro, Casual Pass, 10 Class Pack or a 5 Class Pack. From time to time these packs may be available at a “sale price”.

 

 

3.a. Intro Offer - 3 Classes for $49

 

The 3 for $49 intro offer is designed for clients to come and try classes at Belle Movement.

 

  • The offer can be used once per client.

  • The Intro Offer 3 Class Pass can be used on all classes on the Belle Movement schedule, excluding special programs and private sessions.

  • Intro Offer is valid for 40 days from the date of purchase. Classes not used by this time will expire.

  • In exceptional circumstances, the 40-day validity may be extended.

  • Booking and cancellation policies apply to the Intro Offer (as stated above).

  • The Intro Offer is non-refundable unless under extenuating circumstances.

  • The Intro Offer cannot be partially refunded. Once a class has been booked, the pass is regarded as active and cannot be refunded. If the pass has not been used to book classes, a refund can be processed in extenuating circumstances.

  • The intro offer cannot be shared between multiple clients.

 

3.b. Casual Class Passes

 

  • A Casual Class Retails at $29 per class.

  • Casual Class Passes (Reformer) can be used on all classes excluding special programs and Private Classes.

  • Casual Class Passes are valid for 1 month after the purchase date, at which time the Casual Class Pass expires.

  • Casual Class Passes is non-refundable unless under extenuating circumstances.

 

3.c. 10 Class Pack  & 5 Class Packs

 

  • A 10 Class Pass Retails at $259.

  • A 5 Class Pass Retails at $129.50

  • 10 Class Passes/ 5 Class Passes  can be used on all classes excluding special programs and private sessions

  • 10 Class Passes/ 5 Class Passes are valid for 6 months after the purchase date, at which time the Casual Class Pass expires. 10 Class Passes are non-refundable unless under extenuating circumstances.

  • A 10 Class Queenagers Pass is $189 and passes can only be used on Queenagers Classes

  • All class packs are valid for 4 months after the purchase date, at which time, the pass expires.

  • Casual Class Passes is non-refundable unless under extenuating circumstances.

 

*Note: the above policy in relation to class packs also applies also to gift vouchers.

 

4. Private/Semi-Private Sessions

 

  • Private sessions must be booked via enquiry. Bookings cannot be made via the Belle Movement App.

  • Enquires can be made via email to hello@bellemovement.com , the website enquiry page or via phone call between the hours of 9:00am and 3:00pm Monday to Friday.

  • Private sessions are where a client, or small groups of clients work exclusively with one instructor on an individualised program.

 

  • Private sessions will not always have exclusive use of the studio during their session. There may be other private sessions, being conducted by other instructors in the studio at the same time. Alternatively, there may also be Belle Movement staff performing other duties within the studio at the time of your session. Duties may include admin, class planning, machine maintenance and other quiet duties. Every effort will be made to ensure that clients will not be disturbed during their private session however Belle Movement cannot guarantee the exclusive use of the studio for a private session.

 

  • Private sessions similarly to classes must be booked and paid upfront.

  • All cancellation policies stipulated above are applicable to private sessions.

 

 

5. Special events, programs and courses

 

  • Special events, programs and courses vary in price and duration.

  • When joining a special event, program and course you are agreeing to attend all associated classes and meetings.

  • In some cases, programs and courses will have an associated class pack, the pack can only be used on the associated program or course (unless otherwise specified).

  • The class pack allocations expire at the time of the course of program ending, unless otherwise specified. For example, Belle Running will allocate you 8 x Run Class Passes, these passes expire once the course ends. The passes are not transferable to future courses or group class credits, unless under extenuating circumstances.  

  • Should you join a special event, program or course, and you change your mind after week 1, you may transfer your payment to group class credit. The credit will be applied at a pro rata rate of a 10 Class Pass.

  • Changes can not be made after week 1.

  • All cancelation polices stipulated above are applicable to special events, programs and courses.

 

6. Creche

 

  • Creche is available at Belle Movement Ettalong Beach on Tuesday’s, Wednesday’s and Friday’s.

  • Creche must be booked in advance to ensure that Belle Movement is meeting the correct ratios.

  • If you are bringing more than one child, you must notify Belle Movement in advance to ensure we do not exceed our 1:6 ratio. Please send a message via the Belle Movement App or email hello@bellemovement.com

  • Creche is $5 per child, per class.

  • All Cancellation policies stipulated above, apply to Creche services.

  • If your child has been unwell (coughs, colds, fevers, gastro etc) more than 24 hours prior to creche, your child must not attend.

  • If your child is too sick for daycare or school, they are too sick to come to our creche.

  • We advise that parents provide a water bottle and some snacks for your child during creche.

  • High-allergen foods, in particular, peanuts, under no circumstances should enter the creche. We have an anaphylactic peanut allergy on our staff.

  • Clients should arrive with enough time to settle their children into the creche before your class commences.

  • Every effort will be made to ensure that your child remains calm in the creche. However, should your child become distressed, we will ask that you come to settle your child.

  • Children are not permitted to be on the studio floor during classes. This is for the safety of your child and for the other clients.

  • Children who are not yet mobile, may be on the studio floor if they are securely in a pram or bouncer.

  • Should your child enter the studio whilst a class is in progress, the child is now under the sole care of the parent or care giver.

  • Clients who are not using the creche service at the specified creche times, need to be aware that creche classes will have a level of noise and perhaps disruption. Should this be an issue for you, we advise that you book classes at times when creche is not available.
